Ecomondo 2023: Spoke 2 participates in Rimini's green fair

From Nov. 7-10, Rimini will host the 26th edition of Ecomondo, one of Europe's most important trade fairs on the ecological transition. This event brings together companies and institutions engaged in various spheres of sustainability, including water management, waste treatment, bioenergy, soil conservation, circular economy and more.


Spoke 2 - Green technologies and sustainable industry will be an integral part of this event and will have a space within the University of Turin's booth 305 at the South Area. This space will serve as a showcase for Spoke 2's research and innovations, with the aim of fostering networking among participants and visitors and promoting the activities and themes of the Spoke and the NODES - Digital and Sustainable Northwest project.

What will you discover in our booth?

Within the booth, the University of Turin will specifically present the key themes of innovation in sustainability on which it is focusing its efforts. These themes include:

 

  • Eco-friendly processes and materials with low environmental impact
  • Sustainability in industry
  • Waste conversion and recovery
  • Hydrogen utilization
  • Water reuse
  • Sustainable plastics
  • Energy community initiatives
  • Sustainable and precision agriculture
  • Digital technologies for environmental health
  • The Butterfly Area, an upcoming area of the university campus dedicated to businesses
  • Corporate training courses
  • Investment in the human aspect of business: PhDs and students

 

Our researchers will be available for meetings with potential partners and companies, offering reserved spaces for discussions and collaborations. It will be possible to arrange appointments directly at the booth, following the "Meet the UniTo Researcher" program to schedule meetings at set times.
