The project aims to develop an open infrastructure for immersive virtual reality systems for research, educational and business development services.
Objectives

The project aims to develop an open infrastructure for immersive virtual reality systems for research, educational and business development services.

The project is based on a logical architecture capable of integrating human skills and advanced technologies through development laboratories dedicated to new vision technologies.
Expected Results

The project is based on a logical architecture capable of integrating human skills and advanced technologies through development laboratories dedicated to new vision technologies (from mobile devices to new immersive environments - VR, AR, XR), to source-based 3D reconstructions of heritage in specific historical periods, to spherical photogrammetry and virtual reality environments (single/multi-user) through the use of graphic engines for real time 3D applications (e.g. Unity 3D, Unreal).

Impact on the territory

The project will have three emblematic production and exhibition locations: Città Studi Biella, Museo della Seta Como, rione Triggio Benevento.
