Clone of Clone of Clone of Spoke 2 at Ecomondo fair: innovation, networking and tangible successes

Spoke 2 looks to the future with enthusiasm to continue to contribute significantly to the advancement of sustainable industry and green technologies

It is with great satisfaction that the delegation of Spoke 2 - Green Technologies and Sustainable Industry concludes its participation in the prestigious Ecomondo fair, hosted by the stand of the University of Turin. Ecomondo 2023 was a unique opportunity to network with companies in the Green world and to present the NODES - Northwest Digital And Sustainable Innovation Ecosystem.

We could have talked with the more than 1,500 exhibiting brands, or the 300 buyers, or even more importantly with the delegates from the 280 nations represented... but we confess we couldn't make it ;-)
Nevertheless, we walked many steps, to visit the other booths and shake hands and tell our stories of innovation, education and technologies.

Spoke 2 also had a chance to get noticed thanks to the participation of Proplast, a Spoke partner innovation hub, which presented a poster during the session "Towards a national program for industrial symbiosis: perspectives and opportunities for Italy." The poster, available in the attachments, provides a detailed overview of NODES and the specific activities of Spoke 2.

During the event, we had the pleasure of congratulating in person the company IRIS s.r.l., winner of the NODES Line A grant. IRIS s.r.l.'s presence at the fair not only helped strengthen the reputation of Spoke 2, but also led to a well-deserved recognition. IRIS s.r.l. was honored by the Foundation for Sustainable Development as one of the top ten companies in the field of circular water management. These kinds of tangible successes demonstrate the effectiveness of the synergies generated within this innovation ecosystem.

Ad aprire la giornata presso il Centro Congressi dell’Environment Park, dopo i saluti istituzionali, è stato Duccio Travaglini - co-founder di Greencome, LinkedIn Top Voice 2023 e Forbes Under 30 - con un discorso disruptive sul ruolo dell’imprenditore moderno (e futuro) e su che cosa significhi realmente essere sostenibile e fare impatto nel 2024.

Durante il coffee break, si è svolto il momento di B2B e B2R vero e proprio, durante il quale i vincitori della prima cut-off dei bandi a cascata Linea A e B NODES hanno avuto la possibilità di poter presentare i propri progetti; così come i leader dei Research Modules.

Per loro, lo Spoke 2 ha infatti preparato una sessione poster dinamica ed interattiva: ogni progetto (o RM) ha avuto la possibilità di presentare le proprie attività davanti ad un poster appositamente realizzato; ogni partecipante all’evento, che aveva ricevuto all’ingresso un totale di nove tappi di plastica di tre colori differenti, aveva invece il compito di votare quello che più preferiva secondo alcuni parametri predefiniti in base al colore: originalità del progetto, impatto positivo sull’ambiente e attrattività al finanziamento.

Dopo un’ora e mezzo di networking e votazioni, si sono alternati sul palco Edoardo Braccio, Project Manager di Spoke 2 e Nicole Mariotti, Third parties Project Manager che hanno dato il loro contributo riguardo il vasto catalogo di attività e percorsi di formazione attivo in NODES Spoke 2.

A seguire, Duccio è tornato sul palco per un altro momento interattivo: grazie alla piattaforma Sli.do, abbiamo avuto modo di indagare alcune opinioni del pubblico presente in sala su temi che riguardavano il mondo delle tecnologie verdi, dell’industria sostenibile e dell’innovazione. A partecipare alle votazioni, la madrina d'eccezione Anna Monticelli dell’Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center, ha consegnato il premio a Elena Ferrero, rappresentante durante l’evento di AtelierRiforma, start-up innovativa che ha creato Re4Circular: il progetto, infatti, è risultato quello più votato in assoluto da tutti i partecipanti.
