SKIN SUMMER SCHOOL: The sustainable supply chain in cosmetics

The Skin Summer School - 'The sustainable supply chain in cosmetics' is an academic course that is part of the training programme of the Master's Degree Course in Cosmetological Sciences (Master in Cosmetological Sciences - Labunicosm) directed by Prof. Perugini, lecturer at the University of Pavia.

 

The course

Organised by Etichub srl, an academic spin-off of the University of Pavia, it will take place on 19, 20 and 21 June 2023, combining the hybrid online and offline form at the Campus Aquae facility located in Pavia, strada Cascinazza 2

 

Target

"The sustainable supply chain in cosmetics" is aimed at company representatives, researchers, students or anyone who wants to take a technical look at sustainable cosmetics with the aim of combining aspects of application research and innovation with the needs of today's cosmetics market.

 

Description

Through multiple thematic sessions and the valuable contribution of speakers from industry and academia, the course will explore the sustainability pathway to product creation by offering a programmatic view of the world of personal care and examining the critical steps in sustainable supply chain management.

The course has been co-designed with the contribution of companies in the sector that believe in synergy with the university dimension, also through the identification of their needs in terms of research and innovation considering the dimensions of sustainability and environmental impact: Caldic, Active Box, Pharma Cosm Polli, LumsonRoelmi HPCSharon Personal Care, PinkFrogs, URAI Zschimmer&Schwarz  already been confirmed as participants
