Training course in the management of European projects for research and innovation calls (Horizon Europe)

The European project management course aims to provide the knowledge needed to prepare the budget during the project proposal drafting phase and to manage relationships with the European Commission and partners during the project implementation phase.
The first day will focus on the analysis of key forms such as: the application form, the Consortium Agreement for the management of the partnership and the Annotated Grant Agreement for the contract between the European Commission and the Project Coordinator. Particular attention will also be paid to the ongoing monitoring of the project with the related data collection in preparation of the intermediate and final reports and any amendments. Attention will be paid to the work dynamics in an international partnership.
The second day will instead be an in-depth look at budget aspects. The main issues concerning reporting will be addressed: preparatory costs, direct and indirect overheads, personnel costs and related timesheets and other formal feedback documentation for personnel management and external assignments, other costs related to the project such as investments (purchase and depreciation or rental), travel and dissemination expenses. Attention will be paid to the preparation, collection and management of expense justifications, monitoring and correction of deviations, auditing and control checklists.
